What am I missing. Know of wet or dry grits. Didn't see the word instant?

Stone ground and cooked for 45 minutes. A little half and half and cheese added at the end. I cook the grits before hand and keep them in the fridge.No instant grits in this house.

Lived 2 doors down from an avocado grove in socal. Never ate an avocado. Still haven't.My grandmother had avocado trees, I love avocados and used to climb the trees all the time. She lived in Oceanside and had an acre with a banana tree, she grew and sold christmas trees, she kept bees, and a bunch of other stuff. Too bad my Wife is allergic to avocados, otherwise I'd eat them all the time. My sister had like eight avocados in the fridge when I visited her, insane.
