Beans and squash are coming on strong here too. What variety of beans are you growing? Bush and pole romano here.

Edward, I have been growing French Emerite "haricot verts" pole beans for years. They only take about five minutes of simmering to al dente. The harder I pick them the more they produce.

This mornings pick. I'm solo so I will give most of this away to a local food bank and my neighbors. Smaller garden next year with more variety.

It is a wonderful time of the year. We have been busy filling the freezer with tomato sauce (a slow cooker makes it so much easier, no stirring to cook it down), dehydrator filled multiple times with sliced summer squash, jars of dill pickles 🥒, it has been a bountiful growing season with very little insect problems.
