Broken Hygrometer

So I recently decided to give up with a traditional unaccurate hygrometer and go for a digital hygrometer...the prometheus one sold by CCOM. Well it was great to actually accurately read temperature and humidity levels but the other day I open my coolerador and the prometheus is blank....figuring it was just the battery i switched it out but to my utter dismay it just displays every number and option and wont reset....got any ideas...i havent had time to call CCOM as it was a holiday weekend...hopefully i wont have to pay for another :(

    That's frustrating. Sounds like it's fried, to me. I don't think you'll have any trouble getting ccom to swap it for a new one.

    Hmm.. soak it in distilled water for 30 minutes and then hit the "tare" button... this should re-charge the measuring element and re-calibrate it to 100%... if it still doesn't work, dry it out thoroughly and send it back to the manufacturer and ask for a warranty replacement.
