I got a sweet deal!

so all this welding made me realise, I dont have anything halfway decent to cut metal but an angle grinder and a dremel. by accident I found a 10 inch chop saw on craigslist. so I email the guy and we set up the time and place to meet. he found it in his dads workshop when he passed away. the bottom plate that you move to get the angle is stuck, he was unable to get it to move with some wd40 so he sold it to me for 10 bucks! the thing comes apart real easy, shouldnt be any problem getting it back into good condition. just got to throw a metal cutting blade on it and im set.

    Holy crap, dood... That's an amazing deal! I don't know what kind of equipment that is but just from the description I can imagine a new one of em could be fairly costly.

    Wow. Considering that a cheapo chop saw costs around $125, that's a sweeeeeet deal. Craigslist has always been pretty good to me. Just gotta be wary of the scammers out there.

    695$ is what we paid for the chop saw in our shop. Industrial grade, but gives you some perspective......
