Padron 1964 46 year

smbrinksmbrink Posts: 406
So my father bought me a few sticks as a belated b-day present, one of them being a Padron 1964. However this particular stick has a band under the main band that says "46 years". Is this a different blend that the regular 1964 or is the additional band just stating that Padron has been in business for 46 years?

Sounds like it might be a Family Reserve. Does it have a little picture of a hammer on the label somewhere?

Yeah, that sounds like the Family Reserve 46, which is this year's Family Reserva stick from Padron. If so, you got some mighty fine smoking there. Does it look like this:

Put it aside and save it for a special occasion.

Saw both the 45 and the 46 at a local B&M just a few minutes ago. Not a cheap smoke at all! Hope you enjoy it.

I bought a box of the 45's last year...GREAT smoke...and def not cheap! Make sure you carve out about 2hrs for this cigar, sit back w/ a nice drink and enjoy it.
