    That's the ember burning in the cigar. It looks purple as alot of digital cameras are affected by heavy amounts of infrared light. I notice it whenever our radiant heater creeps into a snapsho. To the naked eye the ember would be burning the beautiful orange that we all know and love.

    Wtf? the last time I have seen a split like that it cost me five 1 dollar bills, and now I wish I hadn't. lol
