Drymistat or Humidity Beads?

I recently purchased a Drymistat tube.  It is in the shape of a cigar and has some type of gel in it.  You put some water in it and place it in your humi once the water is absorbed by the gel(normally takes about 2 mins for it to absorb)

It keeps my humi exactly at 70%RH.  Amazing.  Anyone use it?

I have also seen these Humidity beads that you can actually place at the top of your humi with a magnet.  Same theory it seems as the Drymistat.  With the beads though, you can pick 65% or 70%.  Anyone use these?

Which is better?

Seems like everyone here has good results with the beads, which I'm getting ready to order myself - the 65% ones

yup, I love the beads. I use 65%'ers. I have a few 70% tubes but since I'm a newbie I haven't experimented between the 2. I'm not sure if my "palate" (is that the right word?) could tell the difference. I'm sure someone on this board has experimented and can sher thier results. Jeff

Is heartfelt the best place for beads or can you get them at the larger B&M s?
