I recently got a MoW figurado sampler and the tops are rather..messy..So I was wondering, it it ok to put a bigar box inside the humidor itself?

I see guys with them in the coolidors and humi's. They usually have them proped open to let allow air flow.

Absolutely. I crack mine open but other brothers leave them closed...just another personal opinion thing. Just make sure to only keep cigars in their spanish cedar boxes for long term aging, not all are SC

No need to open them. They are fine in the humidor.

+1 I always have several in my cooloerdor with no problems. I keep them closed because they are already seasoned and the interior of my coolerdor stays where I want it so the boxes in it maintain RH rock solid.

++1 I have them in coolidors also, keep them closed, tested inside boxes with hygrometer once all good within 1 of what coolidor read on hygrometer!!!!
