Number of Boveda packs

JZerbyJZerby Posts: 122
If this is answered somewhere else, sorry to ask it again. I couldn't find it if it was. Anyway... I have a small desktop humidor. It says it holds 10, but I have 12 in there right now cuz of the smaller sized cigars I happen to have in there. I know the boveda system says to have 2 packs for the first like 25 cigars or something like that. But do I really need two of them in that small of an environment? I had two in there, but the cigars seemed too soft. I now have only one in there. Would that be alright considering how few cigars are in the humi?

Is it the analog or digital and did you calibrate it?and if so what did it read?

Digital and it read 75 when i calibrated it using the salt method. And the seals on the humi are good cuz i checked those too. Should i maybe switch to a lower rh since it's a smaller humi?

One will be fine in that confined space if everything is operating properly .

I like mine to be in the 65-68% range. I'd go with just one too.
