re-sesoning my humidor

Hey guys, I haven't use my humidor in about 6 months and wanted to start smoking again. I wanted to try the boveda 84% seasoning packs to do so. What do you guys think? Also I've been wanting to make the change to beads from hearfelt 70% medium tube for a 50 count humidor. Do I need to use any other type of humification device to go along with the beads? And if so, what you y'all suggest? sorry I know you guys get these questions a lot, just figured this is the best place for me to get information on starting to smoke again. I always had a problem keeping my humidity levels, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance guys.

Never used the seasoning packet myself, just seemed like a waste of money when a saucer of distilled water works just fine. Just fill it up and let it sit a few days. The wider the dish the better it works.
