Oh craps, there goes my office!

cbuckcbuck Posts: 8,439 ✭✭✭✭✭
So, I'm leaving work yesterday, walk into my office to get some sticks to take home for the weekend. There is a package sitting on top of my humidor! Not expecting anything, I open it! Boom! @jlmarta sent me a thank you for some tips and the name of a good book about Craps! My office will never be the same. Thank you John! The Emilio and Varina are new to me, and the others are great sticks! Not necessary, but appreciated!

And his pals call him Marty.

If you get a chance, ask him who Jasper is.  :-)

John, Joe, it's all good. Glad you enjoyed the Emilio and hope the others are good also.

Ill be be trying out some of what I learned from the info you passed along to me. We're booked into a nearby casino just before turkey day. The hotel was sold out for the 26th so we'll spend the 24th and have our dinner a couple days early. I'll roll the dice a few times and see what happens....  B)

Good luck! I had a bad streak at roulette for a while, and haven't been at all for about 2 years! Should of stuck with craps! The odds a roulette kill eventually!

Yeah. I don't go near the roulette wheel. To me, it's a ladies game. The odds are WAY better at the craps table. With a house advantage of less than 1% it's hard to beat - the game, that is. I can't think of a game with a lower house advantage...

Agreed! However, when you win 7 grand on one spin of the wheel, and it comes in back to back, and you go home with enough to buy a nice car, it can tempt you! We had some good luck for a while, but sooner or later the percentage will grind you down!

Never played craps and never win at roulette. Those look like some nice cigars! :)

22 black is my lucky number on roulette. It's my middle sons birthday and has won me some money on cruises several times

Hello Nick! 7,11 are our main numbers, along with the ones on either side of them. We play a section branching out from the 7 and 11. As I said though, we haven't been for a while. Where do you gamble from Orlando? Our Timeshare runs a trip to Canaveral to take a boat out, but I guess the indians have some on land now?

There is a casino cruise from Canaveral but I was talking about the big cruises.  There is also a hard rock casino off I4 almost to Tampa owned by the Seminole Indians

Yes, I've seen that one on my way to Ybor City. Usually our son is with us, and we don't like to gamble in front of him. Used to go out of Fort Myers when my dad was alive. By the way, we should be checking in on February 1 in Orlando. Maybe we can have a little more time.
