Personally, I like the Cuisanart ICE-100, as it doesn't require freezing a part to put in it. It is self contained freezing. Not cheap, but it is worth every penny.
Or you can buy the Cuisinart ICE-45 and use the freeze bowl and have the cone dispenser.
Or buy both and use the 100 to make the ice cream and then transfer it to the 45 to dispense for cones.
I love ice cream, so we have the 100 and make it, put it into a container, then freeze. Then use ice cream scoop and put it in a bowl with butterscotch or caramel or chocolate syrup or a combination of them.
Now I'm getting hungry. LOL!
In Fumo Pax Money can't buy happiness, but it can buy cigars and that's close enough.
My wife runs an ice cream store over the summer next to her Agway store. Gain 10lbs. every summer.. Worth it. Lose weight weight in the winter just to be ready for the summer. Any cigars pair well with ice cream?
Man, I love ice cream. One of the places around here has a chocolate chip (more like flakes) ice cream that I love. Then there is the sea salt caramel vanilla ice cream and rocky road (but I like it with not so much nuts in it).
Rats, now I really want some ice cream. LOL!

what the hell were those with the bjg crank on the side, just add salt and ice and keep turning the handle, do they have a brand name
Yeah, they are called old f'ers ice cream maker. LOL! Actually, one the largest manufacturers of the old ice cream buckets was White Mountain. My grandfather had a few of them. He used to like to put eggs in the ice cream mix. Why, I have no idea, but I hated it. So when he wanted to make ice cream, my grandmother would make the ice cream mix and get it going before he knew. The market in Seattle carried vanilla beans and her vanilla ice cream was excellent. Man, I miss that.
Wow, that's one of those memories that puts an instant smile on your face. Thanks for that memory.

I've got one of those Donvier ice cream makers that you put in the freezer and then put the ingredients inside and spin the paddle a few times until everything sets up. Pretty sure it was a thrift score, worked real well for coffee ice cream and sorbets with the tangerines from the back yard. I need to get that puppy out.
We've also got one of those tumble ball camping ice cream makers that you roll around to make the ice cream. Never really used it, was a gift. I hear you can make ice cream in a zip lock pretty easy in a pinch if you YouTube it first.

Egg yolks make it French Ice Cream, or Custard! Most of mine is French. We do some formulas for others that are not french.
Yeah, I want it homemade, I drive 4 minutes to the buddy of mine that owns a shop. I got it fresh out of the machine one day when I happened by at just the right time. Best chocolate ever.
I've used a tumble ball while camping. It was fun for a while with the kids, but once they got bored, before it was ready, well it became a bit of a chore for the adults to keep going for a fairly small amount of cold stuff.
Intelligence is knowing that a tomato is a fruit; wisdom is knowing not to put it in a fruit salad.
I like Oliva and Quesada (including Regius) a lot. I will smoke anything, though.
Not me, I am sure she could make me scream for ice cream
Brett
Careful, that pretty little wife of your's would probably slice and dice you. Sometimes, it's best to only look at the menu. ROFL!
I am a damned lucky man in many ways, but one of the best is that while in public she points out the hot or slvtty ones to me to look at rofl! Her words are "I don't care where you get you're motor running, just remember where you park the car"
Brett
"When walking in open territory bother no one. If someone bothers you, ask them to stop. If they do not stop, destroy them."
So my wife asks how much some of these ice cream makers are and I give her a price range. She looks at me after I tell her the one I am getting and she says and I quote, "Does this also give you a ****?" I take it she is ok with that happening. Didn't tell her it was going to cost $30 with my reward points.
