    Will be using ESPN standard scoring .... info here:
    http://games.espn.com/fhl/resources/help/content?name=scoring-settings-standard/. 

    If we have an even number of people, we will do a head-to-head format (similar to fantasy football).....if we have an odd number we'll have to do a "rotisserie" format.

    @MikeTodd ; i'm counting you "in".  you put us at an even 10. 

    and haha no you can't just pick the blackhawks,  but you can try to draft as many of their players as possible. 



    also fwiw this is my first time doing fantasy hockey as well .... so i think it's going to be a learning experience for all of us.

    Ok. I have never done a fantasy league so I am completely a noob at this.

    @MikeTodd ; it will be similar to fantasy football (if you're familiar with that at all)....

    The draft order will be randomly determined before the live draft begins.

    The first pick of the draft will be "on the clock" within three minutes of the scheduled draft time, so everyone should make sure they are ready to go before the scheduled start of the draft.

    Each team drafts one player per round until all roster slots are full (including bench).

    Ok. Never done fantasy football either. Luckily I have a few friends at work who are helping me. We are doing top picks and backups for each position.

    I voted for the 9 pm times but I could probably make any of them work. The later ones work better cause the little guy is usually asleep by then so my attention can go fully to the draft

    Alright folks --- it looks like MON OCT 10 @ 1000 PM is the most popular time for the draft. 


    If you can not make the live draft, you can set the order of your draft list beforehand and your team will be "auto-picked" based on your draft list. 

    The draft list can be ordered using ESPN's Pre-Rank or Lite Version Tool available on your preseason My Team page.

    Your list will be used as your default rankings if you are disconnected for any reason during the draft. The links for editing your draft lists are available in two places:

    On your preseason League Office page in the "Draft Info" box.
    On your main Team page.

    It appears that Charlie's coworker no longer wants to play..... which puts us at 9 people.

    Are any other CCOM BOTL's interested in playing so we can get an even 10?

    I have to take friends to the airport at 3 AM the next morning so I plan on drafting and then napping! Let me ask my buddy if he would be interested. He follows hockey just not sure if he's into the fantasy stuff
