Surgery

cbuckcbuck Posts: 8,439 ✭✭✭✭✭
Surgery is over! Supposed to be successful, but I'll judge that by how much pain is gone a month from now when it heals! As long as I can work and sleep relatively pain free, I'll be happy! Thanks for the prayers!

Arthritis in hand. Metal in joint! Hopefully fixes it! Thanks. Tough to clip cigars one handed, but I managed!

Great news Charlie.  Hear ice cream and a cigar is the best medicine.

Already did that Al! @Albinfk Add a Percocet, and all is well! It was a 2 hour operation! I was thinking a half hour, so was a little surprised! Hope it solves my problems!

Did they bionically attach a V-cutter?

I wish! Then I wouldn't have so much trouble clipping them with one hand! If I was thinking, I would have clipped a few yesterday in preparation for this!

Hand surgery is a specialty in its own right, hopefully you got a good one. Did they replace the whole joint?

My wife had to have a plate and screws in her hand last winter.  If nothing else, using a cigar cutter will be good physical therapy? :)   Hope all goes well as you recover.
