silvermouse said:Good Morning, starting the day with a ... something ... from a Bigshizza sale, about 4.2 x 55 in size with a black label with nothing on it but a big red skull and crossbones. Probably not as scary as it looks."I drink a great deal. I sleep a little, and I smoke cigar after cigar. That is why I am in two-hundred-percent form."

Oliva Master Blends III Churchill, heading out to the barn to smoke it, raging storm outside, not much snow (I think @Jay6 is getting that) but the winds are fearsome.2

not going to be much left of the beach with the high tide, storm surge, and 15' waves hitting the dunes, quite a scene, and I am sooo glad I don't have a house right on the bay.
Gave up the idea of smoking a Churchill this morning and opted instead for a Papi ChuloHN.1 -
@silvermouse
Kind of funny how that works. When you're inside and warm that Churchill's seems like a good idea. But when you go out into the cold you're wishing it was a robusto LOLThe higher.......the fewer. ( Alexander Rozhenko)

I had a treadmill stress test this morning......wasn't really sure where to light it.......
all things being equal, I'd would rather have had an Oliva Melanio. Or a luchador....or even a damn swisher sweet.
I thought I agreed I wasn't going to get old.

Not a darned thing. I'm stuck working on a local mountain top communication site sitting around watching a tower crew work on an antenna. Beautiful day but cold and windy and I'd really like a cigar or a pipe right now but that's verboten here.
I am enjoying a nice coffee I roasted up this weekend, Zambia Kasama Estate. The seller says notes of pungent molasses, pipe tobacco leaves, rustic earth tones, and cooked rhubarb.
I find it hard to identify pipe tobacco leaves as a flavor note in coffee the same way I find it hard to find notes of coffee in a cigar... what kind of tobacco or coffee, there's so many different flavors involved that it's not that meaningful as a descriptor. That being said, there is a sort of deep sweetness that reminds me of a pipe a bit. It's a good cup of coffee and I have a hand grinder, a growler full of water, and an electric kettle in the car in case I want more. Shoot, looks like I'm missing the filter basket piece for my travel press to be able to brew this up.Join us on Zoom vHerf (Meeting # 2619860114 Password vHerf2020 )1 -
The Tabernacle to start the day.
It sounds like you could use one of these, @Yakster, though I went with a black one. Keeps coffee hot far longer than most:

Good morning Charles and Edward. It looks like my son was hard at work with his girlfriend last night.
Glad to see he spends his time so productively. Lol
