I wasn't sure where to put this, but I figured I had to read it, so I chose this thread. This comparison came inside an update from a child I sponsor in Kenya.
"Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another." - Proverbs 27:17
The info is from Kenya because that is where my sponsored kid lives.
If you are asking why I chose to sponsor a kid in Kenya, it's because I know they have a great need there. I know there is a great need here as well, which is why I also give to American-focused charities too.
Edit: I originally used "as well" twice in the last sentence. That fact bothered me and I had to change the second one to "too" in order to be at ease.

This study may explain symptoms of some folk who have long covid symptoms:
A multimodal neuroimaging study of brain abnormalities and clinical correlates in post treatment Lyme disease
Results reported here may have implications for other diseases in which white matter pathology has been demonstrated (e.g., multiple sclerosis) or in illnesses in which cognitive complaints follow disease onset in the absence of objective methods to confirm neuropathology (e.g., chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, post acute COVID)
QUOTE: Having a low tolerance for alcohol may also play a role, as the alcohol produced by the microbes has a greater effect on the human who hosts them.
Seems to me that heavy drinking might be the cure. Build up a tolerance to alcohol.
