When was the last time any bill was passed only after it had been studied, vetted and negotiated. We need single purpose bills, that an eight grader can understand.
Then again that might be too much for many of the elected.

Here's a very interesting read on GAC, gender-affirming care; the lack of good research available to children/parents/medical personnel who are making incredibly hard decisions, along with how the media has lost its credibility in reporting on this difficult topic. It's a long read and IMHO very balanced, and encourage you to read it.

Dense stuff, I think I need Edward to translate. Someone else read this and took away that the Arabica varieties came from C. eugenioides and C. canephora (which includes Robusta) naturally.

    https://abcnews.go.com/US/plastic-bags-walmart-us-recycling-bins-tracked-controversial/story?id=109491232

"Exporting plastic waste, particularly to poorer nations, is a controversial practice. Often decried by critics as "waste colonialism," the United Nations has described it as "highly prone to corruption," and the international community has tried to curb the trade through the 2019 Basel Convention's Amendments on Plastic Waste, which set strict regulations for international plastic waste shipments.

The U.S, however, one of the world's biggest plastic producers, is among five U.N.-recognized countries that refused to join the agreement and which continues to send plastic waste abroad with little oversight. Since 2020, more than 600,000 metric tons of plastic waste has been shipped from U.S. ports to countries around the world under the premise of "recycling," according to an ABC News analysis of data provided by S&P Global Market Intelligence."

reading about the plague of cats in Australia. Last year there was a plague of mice, go figure.

In Australia, ‘Cats Are Just Catastrophic’
Feral cats take a heavy toll on the world’s wildlife, especially Down Under. The solution? Smarter traps, sharpshooters, survival camp for prey species, and the “Felixer.”

My guess is that creatures who are savagely vicious enough to conceive of and create such abominations will be all too eager to use them. Legal experts and ethicists are just coming up with the politically correct excuses.

"Combining DMS with other sensing technologies also allows for the monitoring of driver behavior and health. “By increasing [DMS] capability for vital health monitoring, emotional state detection, and other things, we can add more value to what’s already going to be in the vehicle,” said Eric Miciuda, head of display solutions business area UX for Tier 1 supplier Continental North America. Continental is developing DMS technology to capture biometric data such as blood pressure and pulse and to use galvanic skin response to better authenticate drivers. “It can tell not just that your pupils are dilated but also detect if your face is flush, if you’re sweating, or stressed out.”

"Brackenbury said Gentex is using AI machine vision to learn more about the health and emotions of vehicle occupants. “Once we can train these systems, it’s not just about identifying where drivers are looking or if they're sleepy,” he said. “We’re involved in early research to identify health parameters such as breath rate and heart rate, and many of these systems can detect various emotions.” "

As research has shown, the microgravity environment of space has serious consequences for the health of astronauts, including bone and muscle loss and deficits of the central nervous system. Even the weak gravity on the Moon's surface could cause their condition to deteriorate over time.

    Arctic geopolitics.

This article was interesting, to say the least. The narrative is the direct opposite to the intel (and BOTG) I have studied and researched over the past six years. Search for yourself. Research institutions (government and private), mining, refineries, non profits, port expansion, shipbuilding, drone expeditionary missions, ice breaking, military expansion, etc etc etc. Information is readily accessible with simple searches on the www. I have several questions for the author. However, I won’t bore you.
