Second stick of the day, finished earlier. Also well aged. Don't knock 'smoke shops', you can sometimes find a diamond in the ruff...

Really liked the lancero version of that that I had with Wayne and Peter in Reno, great smoke!

No photo but I lit up a fantastic 2016 La Palina TAA "Bill's Blend". My new favorite. Got these from @peter4jc, thanks Peter.

Just in case any of the B00B Alliance is reading this, the LP TAA's I sold aren't from the box you B00B's bombed me with...  I bought a box on sale and passed them on to a few BORKs...

I got a package in today from auction.  This was one of those "it's almost midnight and the bundle is only $7" kind of purchases.  I tend to give a lot of cigars away to my neighbors so I figured if nothing else this would be good for that. You know those guys that are good friends of yours but will smoke one of your cigars 1/4 of the way before throwing it in the woods. Figured I better know what I'm handing out. As it turns out it's not nearly as bad as I thought it was going to be. I'm actually quite enjoying it.

Alright.  I'm going to need a second opinion.  I lit this C'est La Vie "El Cheapo Supreme" expecting to horrendously offend my taste buds and senses.  As I stated before, I bought these super cheap expecting to give them to a neighbor or friend whom I may feel will enjoy the pleasantries involved in having a cigar but will mostly waste it.

As it turned out, the trick was on me!

What I got was a mild, slightly sweet cigar with notes of Cedar and coffee and a moderate draw.  No bitterness, spice, or pepper throughout and not an aesthetic specimen by any means, it required one or two very slight touch-ups.  It was lightly filled, very pliable, the wrapper was soft and oily.

Overall, I'll gladly hand this cigar to any newcomer and would highly recommend it to anyone attempting to practice retro-haling; it would be perfect for that.

Alright, now someone else smoke one of these and tell me I'm not crazy!

Turned out to be a very relaxing but still productive 3 cigar day.

    Happy Birthday @rsherman24!

Smoking a CAO Amazon Basin I've had sitting for 4-6 months. Perfect burn and great flavor. This and an IPA are a great pairing with John Wick on cable.
