    La Palina Nicaragua Oscuro, made at AJs factory, not a bad stick. It has their new LP logo instead of the classic photo, I like the classic labels but they're moving to the new logo for marketing to appeal to a younger crowd.

    I would agree with you. The Oscar was very tasty.

    My first Cuban R&J... That was a damn good smoke!!! Never been a fan of any of their other blends but this one set them apart.

    @Yakster
    How do you lIke the nicaragua? I hadn't noticed the new lines until seeing this and looking them up. Any comparison to the other LP lines? I enjoy the classics, el diario, and especially the black labels.

    I agree, classic labels are better looking; the 1896 Nicaragua (or whatever year) are especially tacky. I hate bands that cover the whole cigar.

    I enjoyed it, but struggle to make a comparison. They're blended by La Palina, not AJ, and have excellent construction.

    They seem to be quite different in terms of blending. I just ordered a few of the Nic Oscuros and connies to try.  Although I don't smoke a lot of AJ stuff, anything made at his factory seems to be very solid.
