Have to get a few in tonight. Got over seven days straight of 100+ weather starting tomorrow. I'm so done with the heat and very much looking forward to fall. Mild fall weather makes up for the sometimes brutal summer weather. Anyway, I digress, on to the first cigar of the night!
Celebrating my wife receiving her first job offer! I mean I'm happy for her, but now that we have another source of income this buying freeze might be coming to an end...
Late night tonight, but a very enjoyable drive home

Me and @Patrickbrick like to bicker back and forth about this. Since you had the red one a few days ago, which one do you prefer? He thinks one is better but I'd pick the other.
99 degrees, 18% humidity, sun is dropping and a nice breeze. Large glass of ice water and a cigar to try and make me forget about heat.
Update: This blend is fantastic. 9/2/2011 is the date on these and they still taste full and delicious. Chocolate, leather, oak, spice and everything nice. Pepin/Johnson made a great blend here.

Very tasty. Quite barnyardy.....is that a real word? Kinda leathery too.....I like it.
Heck yeah it is! In fact, barnyard is one of my favorite flavor profiles. Cigars that smell strongly of barnyard (or shyt for the layman) are always delicious. Leather is also one of my favorites. Sprinkle in a little chocolate/coffee and spice notes and I'm in cigar nirvana!

That first one had a bit of a tunneling problem and was a bit of a pain to smoke. Decided to go straight to the top this time.
Having a rare midnight smoke during staycation. Nice.
Thanks, David @NorCalR1 .
