I'll need to smoke through more of the 5'er of the Ramon Allones by AJ. They arrived on Monday, and this first one two days later, was not what I was hoping for. (Times like this point out how weak my reviewing skills are). It was one-dimensional in flavor, just a dark tobacco taste with little nuance or complexity. What compounded my dislike was a drying finish, a crispness, that made it present itself as harsh.
Everything I've read about these online said it was AJ's best effort and the higher-than-normal price was justified. I hope they're right and after they've sat for a few weeks or a few months will change my opinion.

Haven’t been able to smoke for a few weeks with work being so busy. Figured now is as good as time as any to break these out. Feels good to be back!
