These must share similar filler with the CLE Corojo, the aged tobacco notes are way too similar. The retro is spot on. Of course this one is a bit smoother overall, do to the wrapper difference but the Dominican filler flavors are spot on. There may be a little Corojo in this filler as well, I'm getting hints of it. The profiles are more similar than different. Great smoke, not $20 great but great nonetheless.
Surprisingly, the Cubra binder is really tame. I have some cigars wrapped in it and smoked plenty, it's very noticeable as a wrapper but less so as a binder in this blend. Picking up light citrus on the tail end that is attributable to the cubra, quite nice and well done. It's harmonious with the rest of the blend and didn't really stand out until around the halfway point. Very nice change and addition.
Trying out a Luciano The Dreamer after a long, failed struggle trying to replace a shower valve. It has a nice oily wrapper and the first third is hitting me like cedar and motor oil. Looks like I'll have to cut the handle of the shower off the valve stem to replace the cartridge.

Got berries on the cold draw and getting a nice blackberry flavor on the draw. Only cigar I've ever smoked where I've gotten berry essence. It's chocolate, berries, light leather, and honey nuts. Very enjoyable.

Yeah, can't get the handle off, I'm going to have to cut off the handle because the set screw won't budge. Tried head, cold spray, everything.
