ljl 200 post contest

Seems like the thing to do. Here's how it works: two prizes to give away, could be split or you could win both. Guess my favorite fiction author and favorite fiction book (that's right I did read one or two). Best guess in each category by my 200th post wins. GOOD LUCK!!!

Just playing the odds there. King is popular and The Stand is, imo, one of his best.

Some good guesses so far. A couple hints though: 1) You may be a bit "modern" so far. 2) Two prizes....hmm. Feel free to re-guess if you are already on here.

Alright, second guess: JD Salinger, Catcher in the Rye.

Edit: wait, I think I get it now. The above is my choice for favorite book. My choice for favorite author is John Grisham.

    Ya?

***EDIT.... Dickens - A Tale of Two Cities

Ok, so I misinterpreted the hint. I'll stick with favorite fiction book above, just because I don't want to think any harder. Favorite fiction author though, I'll go with Steve Berry.
