Good morning everybody. Smoking from the contender's pack this morning. Interestingly, not a flat mild Connie. Has some corojo or something spicy in there, probably as a binder, giving it a slight kick. Not bad so far!
@ScotchnSmoke sux lots of large wéiners. And tons of small ones.9 -
A Backwoods with first cup of coffee. And a really big 5 Vegas box pressed after breakfast with another cup of coffee.5

Morning Frank, jd,
Oliva G robusto. Looks to be a beautiful day here, sunny and mid 40's.8 -
Ave Maria Argentum with my coffee. I love these lil figurado’s!

Good morning everyone! A Herrera Esteli from @Far_North_64 Haven’t had one of these lately! Very nice! Thanks Dan!10

Morning Charles. I am doing exactly the same...last night I looked at the sticks Dan sent, selected one to smoke this morning, came up with the same, the Herrera. Thanks @FAR_NORTH_6410

Contender #3, HVC Serie A, which supposedleans they use all "a" grade or wrapper grade tobacco throughout. Hmmmmm....I can't seem to taste any wrapper in the filler quite yet, just a crap load of red pepper so far.
@ScotchnSmoke sux lots of large wéiners. And tons of small ones.7 -
Good morning everyone! No cigar for me today. I will finish packing for my 11 hour flight tonight back to Istanbul. I have a large suitcase for cigars and pipe tobaccos, medium suitcase for Christmas gifts, and my carry on for clothes...yes I have my priorities in order :-)

Morning Charles, all.
La Palina maduro from the snowman. Thanks Dan! Some red honey process Honduran Lempira with a touch of dark roasted robusta keeping it company. Day 2 of holiday shopping chaos at the shop. Police came by yesterday for complaints of traffic. I'm getting too old for this.10 -
Trying to get through the cigar authority contender pack. Number 4 of 7 is the Henry Clay War Hawk. Another spicy Connecticut. So far, my rankings are:
1. HVC Serie A
2. Aladino Connecticut
3. Nestor Miranda Special Selection
This HC is way better than I thought it would be so far. Lots of flavor, lots of spice. Totally surprising for a Connecticut, and especially one from Altadis.

Contender #5 is up! Aganorsa leaf guardian of the farm nightwatch. This one is very nice 15 minutes in. My current standings:
1. HVC Serie A
2. Aladino Connecticut
3. Henry Clay War Hawk
4. Nestor Miranda Special Selection
Now 20 minutes in, this one might be tough to beat, at least so far. Interested to see how the rest of it smokes.

I guess I'll take round 1 today. Oh, and round 2 also. First up a spectacular smoke from @Kendu44:
Next, waiting for my tee time:
