It’s Fuente Friday so I just had to light up this Extra Viejo Fuente that I received from John @IndustMech recently....
It had a strange nipple-shaped head like you see on the foot of certain salomons and a slightly tight draw.My toolkit took care of the problem and it resulted in a most enjoyable smoke. Thanks again, John... 👍12 -

Enjoying an AF Hemingway Best Seller at theJR Cigars in Selma. A rare treat for me to smoke inside when it is cold for here. @Trykflyr_1 and @Far_North_64 would laugh at 40F. But I am still wearing my flip flops

Oliva MB3 corona gorda while roasting my new favorite blend, 3 oz. Honduran canal washed Lempira, 2 oz. Honduran red honey process lempira, 7 oz. Ethiopian washed. Roasted to full city level. A rewarding hobby.7

I think that the boxed press perfe to is easily the ugliest cigar shape, period. Combine that with a silly v cut, and you have a total fuggoh.
BUUUUUTTTTT.....since they're usually rolled by the best rollers, you know they're gonna be well constructed. No exception here. Love all shapes and sizes of the ruination, and this is no exception.

Removing the foot band on this sucker completely tore away the wrapper. Then when I lit it, it puffed up like a marshmallow in the microwave. However, looks like it has settled down and Will burn right.

I'm not the biggest PDR fan in the world. As a matter of fact, I'm not a PDR fan at all. But these Connecticut valley reserves, both the red and blue, a really good smokes. the red is slightly better, but I'm still enjoying this thing while preparing my gas grill for tomorrow.
