Kinda disappointed with this new labeled batch. Nothing like the older labeled batch. They were one of my favorite cigars. Used to only smoke them on special occasions to conserve them. Bought 25 more of these new labeled ones after running out of stock and they have a thicker wrapper that doesn't burn as well and the blend is missing that chocolate and sweet/savory aged tobacco notes that I loved.
It's very good, just not spectacular like the older blend. Then again, my other ones were aged for 5 years before I really started smoking them regularly. Going to stick these on the bottom of the humidor for a couple more years and hope they end up similar to the old stock.

I liked it a lot. Toraño cigars are a favorite go-to morning smoke and this one is no exception, good construction and enough flavor to keep me interested. Their price point is exceptional for the quality (they are $3/each on ccom).

My wife suggested them from a recommendation from a member of the Delta Standby group. They have a cigar thread that people suggest cigars and Shops they find while traveling.

UPDATE: I love the aroma of this cigar, but it’s plugged like MF’er (am I allowed to say that?). Have to vacuum hose this thing to get even a little smoke. I don’t have my PerfecDraw tool at the moment.

Watching the rain fall smoking a Grande Y Gordo Nicaragua from a while back. I normally wouldn't take a chance on an unnamed mystery cigar but the story made sense and I targeted a specific size that I know are only made by limited manufacturers. Glad I did. These are nice full bodied full flavored cigars with flawless construction.
Tasty throughout not super complex but solid flavors of coffee, chocolate, light wood and some spice and a touch of pepper that remains consistent. Not bad at all for a value stick. Not quite the value to dollar of the Oliva 2nds ML that I got but a very close second place and definitely worth the price of admission.

What did you think? I really enjoyed the 2nd one I smoked, the first, not so much. Glad I gave them a second try.
