I haven't posted anything here in a while. I'm doing my third year of college for Computer Programmer Analyst and it takes away from my photography!. I will graduate at the end of April, and I really hope to get some time behind the camera before a "job" steals me away. For now, here's a head shot of a pheasant that is not native to my area.....but I saw it crossing my yard.

I am a happy man. You have made me very grateful. For this is the very first time that the Crown Jewels have ever been adequately & deliriously praised by an unprejudiced person. Still it is the cigars' own fault that this is so for it is a cigar which excites envy & jealousy in the smoker because he knows & feels the truth of which you have said; that there is no other cigar that is just like it. There are cigars which resemble it but only in appearance, not in spirit & not in the ability to dare & do. There is no other cigar that can make a person want to go away & get by himself & think this life over & wonder if it is altogether worth while. I will send you some more when you get out. Let me know. Any man of fine intelligence who is acquainted with Crown Jewels prizes them above any other gems & saves them & hoards them. I gave Harry Rogers a box two years ago & he has them yet. I'm trying to figure out why the flowers showed up larger, and the rainbow pic was small. I thought I did the same thing both times.

I notice that large pictures will sometimes be scaled to display smaller on the forum, but if you click on them you get a full resolution picture. I usually reduce the resolution of my photos before uploading so that they aren't scaled down and so that they load faster. Your flower photo is actually larger, so it must be a weird scaling thing. Some sites let you modify the HTML tags to specify an image width to be displayed, I've played with this on other sites but not this one so I'm not sure that it works.
Anyways, thanks for posting the great pix.

My view from work yesterday, Frazier Peak above Milpitas at a communication site next to where they launch hang gliders. Didn't get a picture from Morgan Hill today, another scenic site. You can see the Alviso salt ponds in the background, the southern most reach of the Bay. The area is known as Monument Peak.
