Awhile back @0patience sent me a couple budget sticks, which I immediately knew were destined to be "Yard 'Gars". These were roughly $2.00 each, if I recall, and were Cameroon Wrappers, of course. They've had adequate humidor time from their travels, and yesterday was the kind of day I figured these were meant for, mowing the fields.
I fired this one up after having mowed for a couple hours, in was probably about 85 degrees, not sure of humidity. Light breeze. Heavy fescue pollen.
The cigar performed very well in this environment. Light up was underwhelming, but soon the Cameroon was making itself known. Earthy and woody tastes with a white pepper building to about the half-way point. In direct sun, warmth, etc. no real burn issues, didn't try to swell up and Gurkha on me, passed the time well.
Thanks, Tony!
I should add that the cigar was a house blend from a place called Little Guy Cigar Shop.
