Beetles?

heh.. that got your attention... Calling Maddy
So, in my world-record nearly $100 humidor-and-cigar buying splurge, I placed an order with ccom last week for a couple of their 3-for-5's, 2 of those RP Summer Lanceros, and the Nub sampler checkout deal. Everything shipped super-lightning-fast as always, and I got it today, which helped soften the blow from the crappy humidor.
Let me sidebar here for a second and say to Laker that if he hadn't given me those pillows, I'd be sitting on a pile of hay in a couple days. You are my hero. Seriously. I'm living the dream with a stack of tupperdors.
Anyway, the Nub sampler came in a small box. As with most of the pre-packaged stuff, there was no pillow. When I opened the box, I noticed 2 things:
1. The contents of the sampler were not as advertised. I was expecting 1 Connie, 3 Habanos, and 2 Cameroons. Instead, I got 2 of each, which actually works out better for me. Rock on.
2. All of the cigars have lots of tobacco bits sprinkled throughout the cellophane. It is hard to tell if anything is an actual "hole", although there are a number of imperfections in the wrappers themselves which don't appear to have been burrowed by an insect. One or two imperfections seems potentially able to affect smokability.
So, after an outrageously long story, I must ask. How the heck do I know if I'm sitting on a box of beetles? Do I just set them aside until it becomes obvious that they're being chewed up? I don't understand. I'd also like input on the minor wrapper imperfections, but I know that'd be impossible without a photo, and I'm too lazy for all that.

hopefully he is right, youve had enough bad luck this week
but if it is Beetles, this should cure them
The NUB Connie's being cut at an angle is odd but I doubt it will really affect the smokeability.
Maddy, what the heck does a beetle look like?
they have bowl haircuts
