Prepping some C&D 2021 Carolina Red Flake + Perique that I pressed into a plug by cube cutting it and loading it into my Stephen Luttrell rusticated bent billiard. The new rolling tray and knife worked well for plug prep in my typical space-limited environs.

I really like how my Norm Triptow tamper is a perfect fit in one of the holes of my little bamboo rolling tray. I'm working from the garage now looking at four screens from two computers.

Man, hard to say. This morning I was relaxing with Thai Silk Tea. TST is sweet and floral, paired nicely. Then I heard the sirens. They kept getting closer and closer. "Please not today, not now" was on loop in my head. The unmistakable sounds of engines gunning, sirens wailing, and crashing sounds of fence and brush being obliterated ended my morning with nothing to do. The next two hours was spent fix'n fence a smuggler punched a hole in.
So now, I'm decompressing with a stout Gin & Tonic and still sorta PO'd about the morning's events. The Hogshead is a great tobacco, but yeah, it tastes different than earlier.
(Good thing is I got to visit shortly with a couple former co-workers...)
Sitting down to try SPC Hogshead in my figural meer with coffee after rustling up grub for the kinfolk on the griddle, bacon, eggs, and pancakes. Good morning all and happy Saturday.

Nice set up Chris! How's the new pipe smoking?
It's a good smoker, I plan to fire it up and work from the garage this afternoon after lunch.
Thanks Chris. It’s just a good all around pipe for anything.

Damn, sounds like a helluva morning. Glad it’s helping decompress.
Second incident in the last four or five months, third in the last 14 months. Oh well....
You can visit Batesville any time you need a vacation!
