I keep seeing Habana Daydreams on another forum so I added a couple ounces of bulk to my Sun Bear order, and I'm glad I did. I may have to take advantage of the 20% off C&D bulk at SP and stock up, it's good good, dark flavors. "A flavorful blend of Virginias, perique, unsweetened black cavendish with a dash of latakia and a spoonful of rich cigar leaf." I'm smoking it in my Hilson Calabash shaped estate briar which has an acrylic military mount stem. Tamper from @Stubble. TYVM Steve

Seems like a good morning to load up some of last years Sun Bear into the elegant Dunhill Pickaxe..

Stanwell HCA seemed like a good choice to try this. Thanks @Stubble

Tonight, after it cooled down, I took a piece of whole perique leaf--about two grams--and destemmed it and chopped it up and then added some Izmir, some dark fired Kentucky, chopped up some stoved Virginia, and added some 515-RC1 Virginia and mixed it up together and smoked a bowl in my BST Billiard. I think this was one of the best bowls of pipe tobacco I've smoked with all the flavors and the easy burn. I'm looking forward to having more of this.

Same blend as yesterday in my Ser Jacopo pipe. This blend has an exaggerated proportion of the condimental tobaccos, the perique, DFK, and Izmir, which results in a strong, bold flavor that makes me think of cigar smoking more than pipe smoking. I'm getting something like a strawberry vinaigrette note in there.
