The tobacco smelled great on opening the tin, but the appearance was instantly well, unusual. It appears to be a mix of textures, shag cut and ribbon cut and maybe some chunks of crumbled cake. First puffs are smooth, Perique tang and Virginia sweetness with enough Latakia to get my attention. I think I'm liking it. A few puffs in and I'm detecting no tongue bite whatsoever, time will tell.Update, tongue bite did come on towards the end.
