    Was probably too much Perique. Not bad, but a little sharp in the flavor. Probably about half that amount would have been better.

    I made two bowls, and the newness of the pipe may have influenced, but I'll try the other pipeful in a well broken in Stanwell later and see what the difference is.

    Definitely smoother in the broken-in pipe, but I should have used about 1/3 the Perique.
