According to East TX Pipe Club video, 3 Nuns originally used Perique in the blend, and I think no Ky Dark Fire. I've slept since watching the video, so...At any rate, curious to see what this blending will be like. I know it won't be the same as the original, but, why not see what it yields?

Was probably too much Perique. Not bad, but a little sharp in the flavor. Probably about half that amount would have been better.
I made two bowls, and the newness of the pipe may have influenced, but I'll try the other pipeful in a well broken in Stanwell later and see what the difference is.

Definitely smoother in the broken-in pipe, but I should have used about 1/3 the Perique.
