Ordered a couple of 5 paks that should be here within a week...the Bolivar 2005 Dominican 6/52 which I smoked a few days ago. It had at least a year and a half of rest which made this cigar a great one...I know there are 4 others lurking around in one of my 30 humidors but I just didn't have the patience to hunt it down so I order another 5 knowing full well I will smoke these.
Another 5 pak of cigars come from Costa Rica which is a boutique blend from a friend of mine who operates the place down there...Don Luis "Secretos" Canionazo which he is now breaking into the market here in the States. He sent me 3 to review on another site and the first one I smoked was this one...boy howdy did I love this cigar! I immediately wrote to him and bought a box of 10 Churchill sized cigars after smoking the robusto and the complexity of this cigar was definitely in my wheelhouse. Hopefully at some point others will discover these blends he is making and I got the 10 cigars for a drop dead price of $40 including shipping....this cigar could easily go for $8 per cigar.
Found a really cool ashtray at an antique shop. I think it's really cool because a lot of the vintage ashtrays I come across don't have good rests for cigars but this one works great. It's an advetising item too. I think Can - Tex Industries is a TX company. I guessing this ashtray is from the late 60s or early 70s. Anybody seen one of these before? It's a Frankoma 458.
In case you are wondering what the hell that thing in the bottom of the ashtray is, I've figured it out. It's a section of sewer pipe. I **** you not. Cannelton Sewer Pipe Company, which was founded in 1908 in Cannelton, Ind. was consolidated with its Texas subsidiaries as Can-Tex Industries in 1963.
Couldn't find a few of these in bama where i am from so i HAD to pick them up. Found a pretty cool smoke shop while i was at it too.
Cool. Where's this smoke shop?
Its around demonbreun street downtown. They call it "midtown" actually since its on the outskirts of the major part of Nashville. The the place is called uptown smoke shop . They had some pretty fair prices, and loads of places to kick back and enjoy a smoke.

LoL a smoke shop called uptown, in a place the locals call midtown, that's actually downtown? Now that's funny.
A couple 5ers that I ordered came in today, not pictured a single of a Diesel H.O. courtesy of Tim.
