Got into a pretty heated discussion yesterday with the Chief Inspector here at my facility over procedures. In the end he had to concede that I was right. Today he brought me these.

One of my employees gave me a couple of cigars her brother brought back from his recent trip to Cuba. One was a Romeo No. 2 tubo, looks legit. The other one though was an El Credito. A quick check lists this rustic stick as Dominican; only thing is that the rather plain band is blue with white lettering rather than the ones available on line. Her brother bought it in Cuba and was told it was made at a farm he visited. I doubt it, but when I smoked it, not expecting much from what appears to be a $2 stick, I was surprised, it was flavorful and fairly strong. So ...  is there any possibility it actually was Cuban or was it Dominican with either a newer or older band?

Kind of a rough looking wrapper with a plain blue band with the name and white stripes?
Yep, cuban and rarely counterfeit, because who is gonna fake a low budget cigar like that.
    But they are so good.

Another great budget cuban to look out for is Jose Piedra Breva.

even though it was addressed properly, for some reason the postman delivered it to Sunflower Court.
some 12 or 13 year old kid wrote up on his skateboard and delivered it LOL
