Got into a pretty heated discussion yesterday with the Chief Inspector here at my facility over procedures. In the end he had to concede that I was right. Today he brought me these.

One of my employees gave me a couple of cigars her brother brought back from his recent trip to Cuba. One was a Romeo No. 2 tubo, looks legit. The other one though was an El Credito. A quick check lists this rustic stick as Dominican; only thing is that the rather plain band is blue with white lettering rather than the ones available on line. Her brother bought it in Cuba and was told it was made at a farm he visited. I doubt it, but when I smoked it, not expecting much from what appears to be a $2 stick, I was surprised, it was flavorful and fairly strong. So ... is there any possibility it actually was Cuban or was it Dominican with either a newer or older band?
My cooler is full, humidity stable, but temp was fluctuating near 80 when I get home from work, and just getting warmer as summer invades the high desert. Found this on letgo for the right price, and a site that makes cedar shelves that are not too pricey. I will try a combination of bovedas and beads initially, @dirtdude has offered to send me some KL, and hope to find a stable combo. CAS is real!
Who is that oldfart in front of....s h i t. Nevermind.LOL
Friends don't let good friends smoke cheap cigars.

Kind of a rough looking wrapper with a plain blue band with the name and white stripes? Yep, cuban and rarely counterfeit, because who is gonna fake a low budget cigar like that. But they are so good.
Another great budget cuban to look out for is Jose Piedra Breva.
In Fumo Pax Money can't buy happiness, but it can buy cigars and that's close enough.
My end of a little trade with @bluezulu Very nice, thanks bro.
No problem brother. I am putting those stands to work as well.
even though it was addressed properly, for some reason the postman delivered it to Sunflower Court. some 12 or 13 year old kid wrote up on his skateboard and delivered it LOL
