    I tip my hat to the wisdom of Founders to name that beer and negate any preconceived ideas of beer consumption being on a schedule. @CharlieHeis

    Germany has laws about what ingredients can go into beer. Politics probably has something to do with these exclusive choices as well.

    I went to my sister's wedding in Germany about seven years ago and people asked me about the beer. Honestly, most of what I had was boring as hell. Lagers, kolsch and wheat beers were mostly what I saw. Don't remember having a stout while I was there but the porter I had was average at best. I did have a few Guinesses in my layover in Dublin and they were amazing. So was the nap I took in the airport.

    Yeah, the Munich Purity Laws. I have no doubt politics plays a part.
