I've been using this ant proof bowl tray (bowl not included) to keep ants out of the dog food, it has some sort of labyrinth inside that ants can't get through and works great. I had a larger rectangular stand previously that had grease inside the feet but it was fussy and too big so I stepped on it and broke one of the feet, but I recommend this tray, it includes Velcro to affix the bowl to the tray and goes outside when I kick the dogs out for the day.

Augustus, Gus for short. Yeah I bet he's already 20 lbs at 8 weeks. Breeder thinks around 180.
