One of my best (local) friends, Nathan (42), who I get together with for a smoke/libations/dinner/movie a couple of times a month, has a brother Josiah (32) who I've gotten to know fairly well too, but only see a few times a year. Josiah's a licensed electrician, he's the one who ran the new circuit for my stereo; he charged me more than I thought the job was worth, and knowing that, I tipped him $50 anyway, thinking a young man needs a leg up in the world. The whiskey was a Christmas gift from Josiah, and I think it was his generous response to my generosity to him. All in all, it blessed me immensely.
The metal cage around the bottle is supposed to be used as a birdfeeder, but I'm inclined to let my fine-feathered friends use their God-given skills to fend for themselves; it'll most likely become a candleholder in my smoking room.
p.s. I think I spotted @OutdoorsSmoke_21191 with this same stuff yesterday, yes?
Not being an aficionado of Irish whiskey, I asked a bartender at an Irish pub for a recommendation of the quintessential Irish whiskey (within the pricepoint of +/-$10 per shot). He recommended Redbreast 12 year ($11). A double, sipped neat, it was worth every penny.
Nice gift from the youngster. Merry Christmas @peter4jc
I've been working from home due to an incident in the office rendering it uninhabitable, so I texted my wife to stop at the store for a bottle of Bulleit Bourbon. I specifically stated the Orange label, not the Green label. So what was in the bag when she got home? The Green label, Rye Bourbon. Why, just why?

That's terrible working conditions, Todd, no one should have to put up with that.

My pal Nathan brought these from Canada, two ryes... yummm.
Went to a distillery in Colorado Springs called 291 and picked up these
Pleasantly surprised how well this adapted and agreed with my palette…inexpensive to boot 🤙🏼
A good cigar and whiskey solve most problems.

@Rdp77 says this stuff is good. I'm inclined to agree.

That's the great thing about not reading the fine print; it provides me with endless opportunities to find new ways to stick my foot in my mouth.
