Piss on Hillary all you want! But try that on Bernie. And on the middle class thing yeah middle class brings in$120k and for the right wing guys that don't make that well yeah gun rights? I just don't get it...either your from the south or millionaires or you just don't care. Me I'm by standards in poverty and I work as hard as I can. Oh plus the bush hate well if you actually read and understand screwed up things Isis was caused by the bush administration so if you voted him then your for the terrorists just saying. So yeah if you don't make $120k a year republicans don't care about you. If you have morals and care about people no matter what well republicans hate you. Oh and if your not American...republicans hate you. Ps none of us but native Americans are true Americans! And yes they hate us!
I don't make enough to justify voting republican. If someday pull in the 150k+ maybe I will reconsider my position. But their track record of wanting to privatize social security, remove the homeowner tax benefit, lack of effort to improve stagnate and falling wages, and provide tax breaks that only benefit the wealthy it doesn't make financial sense.
Hmm, just what I thought you meant. I don't know about the rest of you but, there's more to my vote than "what's in it for me?". And, this is a tired old argument from the left, "Poor conservatives don't know any better". LOL You got any new stuff?
I guess privatizing social security and removing the homeowner tax benefit (which is the single largest return for middle class Americans) is voting within your best interests then go ahead. We allow the government extraordinary control over our lives, regardless of which party is in control, with the understanding that society benefits us as whole. You weight those benefits on personal beliefs of what is best for yourself whether social or economic and make a choice. If there is more to your vote than "what's in it for me" than why vote do you vote?

Oh, that's easy. I vote for what I think is best for the country, my state, my county. I vote for the general welfare of the people, not just what's best for me. Is that an outdated notion?
not that I haven't read everyone's posts in here, but to get back to the point of the thread... the title is not to let any college students vote, and picked up a couple of youtube vids of a few people who didn't know what they were talking about or bullshitting what they were saying.
my question to you is, how does a sample size of 5-10 people, who were edited for their answers for the video, a legitimate representation of the population? this is one of those things that need to be taken for what they are. entertainment. its **** youtube.
I don't really know everyone all that well yet, so I want to ask you @jd50ae; do you really believe what you're writing? or are you just trolling the hell outta everyone here?
Young, dumb and full of ****, lol. I voted for Carter so I can't say anything. When I was young I was a long haired liberal, and I missed my allowance dammit. Our mantra was the imperialistic pigs riding on the backs of their workers, war mongers, etc. sound familiar. Then when I started making my own way in life I became conservative. Think that happens a lot to people. College is theory and life is practice, sometimes that theory doesn't work out in practice.
If you're looking for a woman for pres check out Carly Fiorina, she impresses me. Wish she would lay off on Hillary, if people haven't figured her out yet they never will, and stick to the issues.

She already ran for the senate in California and lost. She's going to have a hard time politically overcoming her decision to layoff so many American workers and send those jobs overseas. I get that it made financial sense for the company, but a lot of people are against outsourcing.

Yeah she lost against Boxer but she pulled in quite a remarkable number of votes for a blue state all the same. I think her hard time will be her lack of political experience not her work record, but we'll see. Outsourcing is bad but that's where politicians can make a difference if they wanted to. It's far too easy to outsource now and less regulations imposed on them then are on our businesses here. Listened to her speak a few times and she seems pretty sharp and she's not a politician. Yet.
She only captured about 43 percent of the vote, in a non presidential race. Not great, considering that Democrats don't tend to vote in swing years. She still has no chance at the nomination so it's kind of a moot point.
You're probably right Eulogy she won't make it to the primaries but so far she's the only Rep. that impresses me. Really can't wait to see the debates, too early right now to make a decision.
