Evidently there is a new tradition for first birthdays! Smash Cake! They have a nice cake for guests, and one for the 1 year old to do as he pleases! Very glad this was at the in-laws, relieving us of any cleanup after! My grandsons first birthday!
No, I didn’t take a pic of that one, because we brought it with us, and I was bringing it into their house, and dropped it! Upside down of course! Tasted good, but wasn’t pretty anymore!

What's to learn about ice cream? You eat it. There are no defined rules how, you just do. LOL! Looks like he was doing just fine.
He was just making sure the ice cream stays on the cone, so you have to push it down in there a little, everyone knows that.
