I've sent private messages to those I think could benefit from redefining their roll on the forum and suspect I will get a pm or two telling me I'm an ass...

Sigh, is it that hard to just not donate if you don't want to? I fail to see the issue. He's asking his friends to help support him in an endeavor IF they feel it's worth while. My daughter did a reading contest where she had to ask for pledges. Does that make her a bad person?

What's an Opus? I've never had one...

    Simple Definition of opus

    • : a piece of music written by a major composer

    • : an important work done by a writer, painter, etc.

You've never seen the movie Mr Hollands Opus staring Richard Dreyfus

Not sure who got p'd off, but I could still go for some Opus X Petite Lancero's. I will include a pic for those that may not know what they have or need to buy.

I don't want to smoke them, I just wanna smell them and then sell them for $35 a stick. I bet that has never happened.

    TYIA

HOLY CRAP!!  That's what those are!!  You guys are always talking about these. $35 would be my most expensive cigar so far. That cigar looks delicious just sitting there.
Lol. My wife's going to kill me but I'm going to find one of those here in Houston. Glad to finally see one.

Thanks for posting the pic Miller

So as a new guy here, I'll way in.

This is place is loaded with good information and some good people. I've seen the generosity from post and pics of peeps being bombed..  Although it is very difficult to get in on the group conversations that have known eachother for a while.
I don't want freebies but I would like to be trading more than I have been allowed to. I want to earn my keep and I expect no free rides. I even went and spend $200 on cigs so I won't embarrass myself trading. Don't worry, I had a blast shopping.

I did a trade with @Lee.mcglynn and he blew my socks off with some ages beauties. I don't know Lee at all but I knew him well enough not to post and show off his trade. I don't think he would have said anything but I wanted to respect the time he put into aging these cigars he blessed me with. I learned a lot from that one trade. I haven't smoked the yet. I want to make sure the are good and rested. Just out of respect to Lee and a great cigar.

Then I got some newb on newb action with @CigarPunk with a mooch hit. I couldn't wait to repay the favor to someone else. I was surprised it too several days for someone to except. But today it finally did.

So, yes I'm here to learn, grow my palette and hopefully help the guys around me that aren't on this forum. AND YES, I would like to get some good free cigs from some of experienced cigar smokers. But, I'm no mooch and I WILL hold my own and always step up to the plate with some good cigar trades.

Will you you get an Opus from me?  Not yet... Will I take one from you?  HELL YES!!!!  Lol.
