tabako Posts: 365 ✭✭✭✭Some of the vets on here like @kuzi16 have done a lot of reviews that you can check out or just post like you did and wait for the gurus to offer their insight. Cigars are all about enjoying the moment and everyone has different tastes. You'll eventually find yours as your palate expands (and your wallet shrinks!)2

If you order online just talk to your sales person and describe the Macanudo you liked and ask for some similar profile connecticut cigars. If you buy from a lounge, well same thing just ask them and look for recommendations based on that. Parked color wrapper isn't always more nicotine and strength, but it is at least an ok rule of thumb for covering a broad spectrum as a whole.

Amber or bronze may be more inline with you instead of the maduros.
Work your way into maduros.
Some maduros can be fairly mild, some not so much.
Read about the cigars you want to try and work from mild up to bold. But be aware that those guides are written subjectively. So you will have to decide for yourself.
And your tastes for cigars may change drastically over time, as you smoke more cigars.
Read as much as you can, believe 10% of it and decide for yourself what you like.In Fumo Pax

If you find a Camacho in your hands, slow your pace. The slower you smoke the less spice and/or harsh you will get out of it.
Relax. Slow down. Puff. Don't smoke.8 -
