Thanks, Lee. I'm sure you're right. It must be some kind of flying bug because I never see any and there are no slime trails to indicate snails. It doesn't match the description of bacterial leaf mold because there haven't been any 'blister-looking' spots.

Ive got 'em in pots hooked to a drip system so it shouldnt be hard to stress them water-wise. I guess I'll try that next.

    Thanks again....   B)
@jlmarta you need to look very closely! A lot of the time if catapillers. They look like very tiny horn worms and are about the size of a small inchworm. They blend in very well and usually hide underneath the leaf. I would lift each affected leaf and take a very close look around

What are you feeding the plants with? When it's flowering time it's best to go with a feed with very very little or no nitrogen. Orchid food is hard to beat and will aid in getting more flowers on the plants. Other then that I used hydroponic nutrients that did very well. General hydroponics has florabloom that works very well but it can get pricey
Not sure what it is. We bought the vegetable plant soil with fertilizer in it.
I assumed that was enough, but thinking it isn't.

had my first ever ghost pepper, didn't take much to season our fresh salsa; I like the flavor of habaneros better, but the ghost sure does have some fire to it.

Okay, I looked all over and under the leaves but found no bugs nor sign of bugs. I disconnected the drip tubes to the plants. A couple of the plants look like they're trying to put out blooms (see pix) but I can't tell. Guess I'll just keep an eye on 'em....  imageimage

Cayenne, Habanero, Japaleno (sic) all volunteered for last night's burrito.

Yes, the middle ones are Jalapenos.  I let 'em go until they ripen and turn red - much better flavor with a little sweetness once they're red.

    Bump

Its that time again. Time to start your pepper seeds so you get a great crop of peppers. I still have a good variety of pepper seeds available and if you would like to do a trade let me know. PM me for list :)

That's right!  I'll be starting my seeds this weekend.

Will only be doing 1 or 2 hot pepper plants this season, I still have 2 full gallon ziploc bags of jalapenos in the freezer from last year.
Going to focus on mild, sweet peppers this year and hopefully I'll have a good harvest.
