Placed in a cedrus libani (Lebanese cedar) lined box to age.
As I understand it, Spanish cedar used for cigar boxes is a mahogany, whereas Lebanese cedar is in fact cedar. So how does cedar behave differently as a place to age cigars?

1 piloto cubano, 2 Condega seco, 1 criollo viso, bound and wrapped in Dominican olor.
I'll soon know whether this blend shows promise.

anyone interested in trading or selling any of these hand-rolls? They look fantastic and I'm always looking to try something new, artisan and small batch/limited, so these tick all the right boxes.

I'll give you some. I've got about 800 in stash at present, so I need to make room in the stashidor. I am NOT interested in any swaps for the same reason. Meanwhile, of course, selling them is illegal. So free gars to you for nuttin...
I you can accept hand rolls on these terms, then PM me your addy and let me know what kinda gars you like. Mine tend to be mild and mellow.

KInd words. But remember: I only have to please myself. The production cigar blender has to knock the socks off enough customers so that they'll cough up twelve bucks a stick.
Much as anything, that's why I started rolling my own. I want a gar I can smoke and still taste dinner. I could get that with the old style American smokes that were made to fire off one after another, like the FX Smith's Sons. But I do like Nicaraguan and Dominican baccy. The advantage of RYO is you can RYO blend. You can get good quality baccy from wholeleaftobacco.com or leafonly.com. It won't have been petuned with the big house's secret sauce. But it will have been cured and aged.
The disadvantage is it takes way years longer to learn to blend than it does to learn to roll. There's a whole lot of experimenting with failures and spreadsheets before you get to where you know what you want and how to get there. Then, too, what leaves are available will cgange on you. Plus, you want to age your stash.
Anyhoo, I still say that those who just trot out and buy ready made are missing out on half the fun. It's like those who take their murdercycle to the shop for every tune up. Shop time is half the experience. Sure, I had the granite counter top installed last month, cause I don't have the cranes and cutters. But I did assemble the rolling barn doors to the TV room and hung them last week, cause, you know, your life's in your hands; not in your wallet.

That’s my agree. A sweetness that you don’t get in production cigars.
