I've had had Pappy a number of times, and while it is really good it is also really overhyped. It's definitely not worth the $25-30 a shot that I've seen it going for in bars. Bevmo will put you on a 3-4 year waitlist if you want to get it at cost.
I am on year 6 right now of a waiting list with a local liquor store by me. I am patient lol.
And for the reasons you stated above is why I will wait to find it MSRP. The craze will end one day and the yuppies will move on to something else. Like bottled cow pisss or something.

What's a good source for cardboard tubes? I used my last tube and want to know where I can find more. Also, I've been vac sealing the bottles in foodsaver bags just in case.
I can get paper tubes. 3.3", 4", and 5" any length.
