If those lights don't turn purple you need to get some that do!  I absolutely love the way it looks in the picture!

They do change color, however the purple is really purple.

If you need humidification, Cigar Oasis is where it is at.  Expansion fan kits do not come with the Magna 2.0 since they increased their fan output.  I emailed them asking the question and they offered to send at not charge if I wanted them.  They are out the door to USPS within an hour of my email back to them.

They sent me fans too, after I'd already bought them tho lol.

Such a cool project and a rather large undertaking as well, thanks for sharing not only how you did this but your thoughts and how you came to certain conclusions and decisions! Overall very well done Mark and appreciate you sharing so many pics! Now finish it up and show us the finished product dammit! ROFL

Well, ran into my first issue. Well second I guess to the 3/4" Spanish cedar boards not being all the same size widths. Made that work somewhat. However, the trays arrived today. Little bigger than I anticipated and the will not fit length wise in the cabinet so I can get 4 across. If I turn the sideways I can only get 2 across. A few options I have to vet here. A, put them on the top 3 shelves. Will fit 4 across that way. Don't care for that as I want to display boxes there. B, send them back and find slightly smaller ones. Going to look into this as a viable option. Depends on what is available.  Will require more waiting time to get boxes and then get them seasoned.  C, Mod the boxes, could, dont really want to. Very time consuming, messy, but will help utilize dead space. D, say F it and deal with it later. I guess I am going to have to sleep on it.

Ya well I guess it's more sawdust for me. Started modding the trays I have to fit. Woo freakin hoo. Can only glue 1 at a time. Only have 2 clamps that will fit.

I am planning on doing the same thing to some for mine I made the same mistake they were too long to fit side by side

3 more drawers to go.  Not as bad as I thought it would be.  A good table saw makes quick work of anything.  Didnt get too fancy.  Hope the wood glue holds up well.

Check the cabinet this morning and was at 68 and then the same after work.  Although it seems as though the magna is running a lot still.  Going to wait longer to fill er up.  Maybe Sunday.  Will have to wait and see.  Maybe even longer.  Dont know that it makes a huge difference with the active humidification in it, but I have a little time so why not.

Mine shuts off for 30 seconds and then runs again for a minute.  It always seems to be running tho.
    So that's pretty normal
After two or three weeks it will level out and stop working so hard.

I would think with all that cedar and if it's got a good seal and I think mine does, once it settles down and everything gets humidified it should not run nearly as much. Alao
nedd to get my other digital hygrometers in the check levels across the vertical plane. The magna hygrometer control unit is at the very top of the cabinet.

Would think the 3/4" spanish cedar would soak up a lot of moisture for a bit. The big project is going to get it to the basement, thats where @bert873 and his buddies come in

They would bill that out as a 5000 ct humi, and the price would be in the 3000-4000 neighborhood.
    That's a work of art

I may take you up on that.  My set should be here today.  Let me see how those work out first.  Thank you for the offer.
