I tried a different brand of Krylon spray paint, this one was the fusion. I'm going back to the other kind, it was smooth and glossy. This is almost textured looking. just not as pretty

i appreciate the offer @Sketch6995 . lemme see if i have another sopranos band somewhere, if so i can make my own (i told you i got a TON of stogie stands already LOL)
Airbrush requires far more patience than I have. Templates or stencils help tons. The thing about clear coat on tanks and such is to get a good gloss, it takes many coats, then lots of sanding and lots of buffing, but when it comes out good, it is worth it.
That tank was a wrecked tank we repaired and were experimenting with a new airbrush and water based airbrush paint.
In Fumo Pax Money can't buy happiness, but it can buy cigars and that's close enough.

Can anybody tell me why this happens? I sprayed both of them at the same time. The red one is smooth, but the black one did that.
Any thoughts?

Idk, they were both sitting side-by-side and I did them both in the same spraying.......

With clear, it's best to make light coats, letting them set before making the next coat.
But since it doesn't seem to be doing it on the label, only the paint, I suspect that it is the color paint reacting with the clear.

I'm pretty sure I held the can too close
