I was logging back In the 80s in Oregon, st. Helens area. This was way off some logging road out in the middle of nowhere. The state was putting in a huge reinforced concrete giant culvert, And there were large segments of the pipe sitting on a platform, Right where we were hauling logs up an embankment. These things weighed 4 or 5 tons apiece and there were 4 of them. We came to work one morning and the state guys were standing around Kind of in shock.
These things had been rolled up the Hill at-least 200 yards, And propped against trees to prevent them from rolling down, It was a pretty steep hillside. And I couldn't figure out how they got up there either. There were no tire tracks or anything and you could see where they had been rolled up the Hill, The ground was flattened all the way up. But nobody ever figured out how they got up there.
Pass order has slightly changed, from Ricky it will go to @Guitarded, from Guitarded to @Wylaff to @Yakster to @WaterNerd and then we will figure out if Shizza is ready for it or not. I will give an update at the time. Thanks again for all or you participating, you guys are awesome, I count all of you as friends, this has been a great experience.
Just got home. Haven't looked inside the fudge box yet. Man what a long day this has been. Puts on the left takes on the right. Heres a story. Last time I was home I was sitting out back when my back door just opened up. Then a few days later the neighbors dogs were barking like hell at something. So I go to see what they are barking at and they are staring at the window to my daughters room. Mind you that except for me the house has been empty since Carla passed away.
Takes left.....put right. Off to Wayne tomorrow if this is ok. My little sister earned a nickname very young. At 4 years old she was standing on a chair watching my mother cook, and I heard this conversation.
Julie: We didn't do it like that before. Mom: Do what? J: Cook like that. M: You mean stir? J: No the fire.
About 2 weeks later my dad was cooking breakfast and she was standing on the chair watching again. J: We didn't do it like that before. What to you mean before? J: You know... the outside fire. When Julie? J: When I was old. You know....before.
My dad nicknamed her " The Witch".
