If that's what it looks like out your windows, I'm very jealous. Beautiful area.

Not quite from the window, but it’s about a two minute walk to see it.
6” of fairly light and fluffy and not done yet. Snowiest winter in years.
Has Steve AKA @Amos_Umwhat checked in yet? Or does anybody have his phone number and can shoot him a text? I know it was very rainy and stormy up around his area.
Three inches of snow and more coming down. 14 degrees this AM. The mountains are beautiful.
-1 this morning headed for a high of 11, followed by tonight's low of - 11. Was supposed to get a foot of snow yesterday, got about 5 inches of light fluffy stuff

I'm in Tampa, 73 and sunny. Had to come down for my son's surgery on his left shoulder, which leaves him with no hands since he left his right hand in Afghanistan

Thank you! Now if we can just get the VA to do what they're supposed to do to help with recovery. They keep telling him he doesn't need follow up care, "just use your other hand". Really. Dumfuk's don't seem to understand that he doesn't HAVE another hand. SMDH.
I got up late, it's still - 7.

I've been dealing with the VA for many years. Best advice I can give is to double and triple check any appointments, meds, and procedures. Lots of "falling through the cracks? take place. One good thing is that a lot of the Docs, nurses, MH folks are vets themselves.
It's been cold all over, for sure. There was a water main break here and cars were up to their axles in water, which would've been okay if you knew what was happening and you drove out of the water. Poor saps... it's solid ice now.
And then I saw how the same thing happened in Detroit, only the water was up to the door handles of the cars, and froze. Boy, oh boy. Who knows what that kind of damage would be?
Makes me wonder if the city will foot the bill for all those claims.
Probably not. Gotta buy extra flood insurance.
Got up to 44 today.
About 80° warmer than the beginning of the week. Got in the low 60s so I enjoyed a couple sticks outdoors today
Typical MO weather, single digit highs/ - double digits lows last week. This week highs in the 60s possibly 70.
86* today 🥵

Not yet for me but maybe the fires are closer to Seth.

We're doing ok down here right now.
70 degrees in central PA this afternoon. First time since early December I'm smoking without the propane heater running. Me likey.
It’s that time of year again..
Careful, drastic changes from hot-to-cold or cold-to-hot can cause cracks in your head to surface.
Front moving through is kicking off some pretty good storms, some moving at 70. Several hours of tornado watch tonight.
Cold enough that when I left my lighters on the table instead of keeping them in my pocket they wouldn't light.
